I grew up doing everything — Bollywood dance, Shakespeare, improv, selling food at the farmers market, and even teaching yoga. I was enthusiastic about all of it, but never felt like I truly belonged in any one world. I've since learned that was never a weakness. It was the whole point.

That's influenced the kind of environment I build, and the work I make. Work that finds the people who never quite fit in and makes them feel like it was made for them.

On a team, I'm an advocate by nature — for the people around me and the ideas in the room. I ask the questions everyone else is thinking, and I'm just as happy making someone else's idea better as I am pitching my own. I take the work seriously, but never myself, and I am always, always down for a bit.

I'm super involved in South Asian a cappella

I've been involved in groups that perform and groups that host bid comps for a national a cappella competition (and yes, it's just like Pitch Perfect). I love combining organization/logistics with my deep passion for performing arts, all while celebrating South Asian culture.

I'm a puzzle whiz

I've always been obsessed with all types of puzzles, codes, and word games. One time, my mom and I went on a trip and went to the same escape room place 4 times in one weekend... I think the employees were a little scared of us by the end.

I live for memes

I'm currently obsessed with the Tung Tung Sahur x Pop the Balloon crossover. If that sounds like complete gibberish to you, don't worry, I can translate.

I love a collage or moodboard!

I love the freedom of art with no 'correct' answer - you're not trying to replicate anything, you're just taking bits and pieces and making them into something beautiful.

I'm a Beyoncé fanatic!

The Cowboy Carter tour was the best performance I've ever seen hands down. Adele said it best: Beyoncé you are the artist of my life!

My cat is a model (and my best friend)

I've had my cat, Juno, since 4th grade and she is the sweetest, funniest, most photogenic little thing! She even has the power to convert cat haters into her loyal subjects.
